Ferrous Standard Substrate F1
The ferrous standard substrate F1 of coating thickness gauge, used for the zero calibration for F1 probe or matching with standard foils. The working principle is still using the magnetic method. With working principle of the magnetic method, when the probe and zero-calibration substrate contact, the probe head and magnetic metal substrate form a closed magnetic circuit, due to the non magnetic layer exists, the magnetic reluctance changes. With measuring the change, the layer thickness can be deduced to achieve the purpose of measuring the coating thickness on the ferrous substrate.
